KeyXamathi Setup & Permission Guide

Learn how to grant necessary macOS system permissions to enable automatic keyboard layout corrections.

1. Required System Permissions

KeyXamathi requires two system permissions under macOS System Settings to observe key events and auto-correct text across desktop apps:

Accessibility Permission

Allows KeyXamathi to perform smooth text replacement when a layout mistake is detected.

Input Monitoring Permission

Allows KeyXamathi to detect keystroke patterns in real-time to identify layout mismatches.

2. How to Enable Permissions on macOS

  1. Open System Settings on your Mac.
  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Accessibility, locate KeyXamathi, and toggle the switch to ON.
  4. Return to Privacy & Security, click Input Monitoring, and toggle KeyXamathi to ON.
  5. Restart KeyXamathi if prompted.
